Both inhouse Help Desk as well as onsite deployments and service to clients of record - 80% in house and 20% onsite average.
The potential employee has to be vaccinated.
Contract to Hire (5 months) Work schedule is M - F 8:
30 to 5:
30 with occasional after hours if a problem requires it to be resolved.
Obviously we prefer not intruding on our team member's personal time if at all possible.
=) This is a basic overview of the position:
L2/L3 Computer Tech We currently have an opening for a level 2 / Level 3 Help Desk technician with experience in networking and firewall configuration.
We are looking to expand our growing team with others who enjoy the challenge of learning something new every day, while taking excellent care of our clients at all times.
Our Help Desk Technicians interact with our clients on a daily basis resolving issues and supporting their computing needs from our office located in Wareham, MA.
We are wholly responsible for maintaining all the IT needs for our clients; ensuring that their offices run smoothly.
This means we provide both remote, and onsite support for our clients.
Company vehicles are used for onsite services, so a valid drivers license, and a clean driving record are a must.
This is not a typical corporate/desk job.
We handle desktop support, server management, network management, backups, antivirus, as well as any other IT needs our clients have.
We strive to stay ahead of the curve, so things are always evolving.
You will never find that your work is getting stale.
We will also offer a rotating office schedule, allowing you to work from home at times starting after 6 months.

Basic Duties and Responsibilities (Note:
The following is a basic list of duties that may be performed and does not encompass every aspect of the job) o Able to diagnose and resolve software issues within a Windows environment.
o Perform software installation on Windows Workstations and Windows Servers.
o Proficient knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office applications.
o Manage and maintain detailed information of client issues in support tickets assigned and detailed documentation of resolutions, interactions and time spent resolving issues.
o Have the ability to custom build servers and load the Operating Systems o Have a working knowledge of Firewalls, Routers and Switches and be able to troubleshoot and configure.
o Have a working knowledge of IP Networking and sub-netting protocols.
o Have the ability to troubleshoot email issues and provide remediation.
o Research, test and deploy new technology.
o Have the ability to work in an on demand, customer service, environment without becoming frazzled.
Client emergencies do occur which leads to a shift in non-critical service issues.
You must have the ability to shift from what was already scheduled to the unscheduled client emergency and then back to the previous schedule.
This requires mental flexibility and is critical.
Additional Requirements Associates Degree in IT, or 4 years of practical experience.
(Level 2 and above) o The ability to understand and follow established business practices at all times is necessary.
o Exercise the highest level of confidentiality and ethical standards at all times.
o The ability to work after hours when needed in order to meet client needs and demands.
o Ability to write, speak and communicate fluently in English o Able to lift boxes and equipment up to 50lbs.
o A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and good driving record (company vehicles are available for onsite visits) o Possess good interpersonal and outstanding customer service skills.
o You must be able to pass a background check and drug screen for illegal narcotics for this position.
